regulatory approval
Material classified as Canadian Federal Hazardous Recyclable must have import approval to allow shipment to our recycling facilities within Canada. We will apply for this approval on behalf of clients. Clients, in turn, are responsible for securing export approval for those materials that are regulated in their country of origin.
Xstrata Recycling employs specialists to manage the import notice requirements of the Canadian Environmental Protection Act. We guide our clients through the process and we provide detailed instructions to facilitate regulatory compliance.
