Xstrata Recycling, an Xstrata group company, has over 50 years of experience in the recycling industry and is one of the world's largest recyclers of electronic components and a major recycler of secondary copper, nickel, gold, silver, platinum, palladium and lead. Approximately 15% of the raw material feed for our copper smelting operations is from recyclable materials. We operate three recycling facilities and four commercial offices in North America, Europe and Malaysia. Xstrata Recycling utilizes the smelting and refining capabilities of four Xstrata smelters/refineries.
Xstrata Recycling is managed by Xstrata Copper, a business unit of Xstrata plc, a major global diversified mining group with operations and projects spanning 18 countries.
